Administration of the Guthrie County Conservation Department including budgeting, grant writing, fiscal management and project administration.
Planning, developing, and management of County parks, recreational areas, wildlife areas and department programs and services.
Planning, conducting, and administering all board meetings and providing all necessary information for board members to set policy and procedures.
Implements all policy, procedures, and administration as set by the Guthrie County Conservation Board.
Coordinating and facilitating the maintenance and operations of all areas managed by the Guthrie County Conservation Department.
Provides public information and guidance about natural resources management and conservation. Maintains cooperative relationships with other agencies and intergovernmental offices.
Directly or indirectly supervise all full-time, seasonal and volunteer staff.
Bachelors’ degree with major coursework in natural resource/science, outdoor recreation, or related field, and minimum 2 years of progressive field experience including supervisory responsibilities. Valid driver’s license.
Useful certifications and training
Chemical applicator license, first aid/ CPR, hunter safety instructor and S130/S190 fire training.

Salary: $50,000 – $59,000 depending on qualifications.
